Plaque(s)
The top two finishers in the Final will receive a plaque.
Event Description
All games will be 4 player games whenever possible. If we have an odd number, there will be some three-player games.
Elimination Rounds:
The top 16 players based on performance in the heats will be eligible for the semifinals (E1 on the schedule). There will be four games in the semifinals, with the winners advancing to a four-player final.
In the very unlikely event that there are four or fewer unique winners in the heats, then there will be no semifinal and the E1 round will be a four-player final.
Tournament Rules:
All standard game rules will apply, and when there is a conflict, we will use the 2nd Edition Rules from Rio Grande Games. Specifically, these rules state that civilization cards in a second set count just one point each and are not squared as is the case with the first set.
